Summer Games 2004 Tracker for mobile phones announced after worldwide success of European Championships Football 2004 Tracker

IceMobile, Sportsplaza and Pascolo announce the launch of their latest Tracker: After the successful release and use of the European Championships Football 2004 Tracker in 14 countries in 2 continents, IceMobile, Sportsplaza and Pascolo announce the launch of their latest Tracker:The Summer Games 2004 Tracker about the Olympic Games to be in held in Athens this August. This Tracker will be launched with Mobile Operators on 3 continents, namely Europe, North America and Asia.

The Summer Games 2004 Tracker, just like the European Championships Football 2004 Tracker, requires a one-time download from the portal of a Mobile Operator onto a Java enabled mobile phone with a color screen. Once downloaded, the application provides end users with real-time information in multi media, such as live results, medal ranking, play schedules, news, statistics and much more, providing significant value to consumers on the go.

The Summer Games 2004 Tracker is the latest in a line of successful Trackers, including Trackers for the cycling events Tour de France and Vuelta, and the European Champions League Football. All existing Trackers have been developed in JAVA (MIDP and DOJA); other programming languages, including BREW, will be available in the near future. The retail price of a Sports Tracker varies per region and Operator.

"The Euro 2004 Tracker, which we launched with some of the strongest Mobile Operators in the world, including Orange and T-Mobile, was a huge success" says Ralph Cohen, CEO of IceMobile. "We are extremely excited and pleased to see this trend continue with our latest Summer Games 2004 Tracker release". "Our partners process the real-time, live data for almost every major sport event in the world, and have the technology and expertise to launch an even broader portfolio of Trackers in the near future, including European Football Leagues and Formula 1" Holland Casino, the only legal casino-operator in the Netherlands, wants to further develop its marketing effort on the mobile phone.

The commercial will be offered, among others, through the download platforms of KPN' i-mode and Vodafone's Live! and will be available for a variety of mobile phones. The launch of Holland Casino's TV-commercial by IceMobile strengthens the existing relationship between both companies: last year, IceMobile developed Holland Casino's first mobile marketing action with the Mobile Game Holland Casino Roulette.
