The Red Herring list is a selection of the 100 private companies that play a leading role in innovation. Companies like Google, eBay and Skype were spotted in their early days by Red Herring editors as those that would change the way we live and work.

The Red Herring 100 Europe list has been selected through a careful analysis of financial data and subjective criteria, including quality of management, execution of strategy, and dedication to research and development. More specifically, IceMobile has been selected based on, among other criteria, its current and potential future growth and its constant product innovation such as its VideoCall products, which were nominated for the prestigious Mobile Innovation Award by the GSM Association earlier this year.

The Red Herring 100 Europe winners were made public at Venture Market Europe in Paris.

IceMobile has been selected for its continuous innovation in mobile entertainment. During the trade mission, the 400-year anniversary of bilateral relations between Australia and the Netherlands will be celebrated. The celebrations, coupled to the trade mission, will take place in Sydney and will be chaired by both country's Prime Ministers.

The band members will use their 3G videophones to make video calls so that they can take their fans from around the world behind the scenes of their European tour. The content will be offered to fans free of charge.

TNS NIPO, the Dutch leading market research company, conducted a survey for Emerce, the leading Dutch business, marketing and technology magazine, about the image of e-business companies. The survey was conducted amongst some 1500 professionals in the business areas/sectors of IT, marketing and sales. In the overall listing, IceMobile was ranked among companies such as Google, Cisco Systems, Vodafone and Dell.

The VideoCall2TV technology and formats enables viewers to express themselves instantly by making a video call from their 3G mobile phones to a TV program and participate in the show with live video images.
